The URL you paste stays in your browser — it is never sent anywhere. Scan the preview with your phone camera before printing, just to double-check.

PNG output size (px)

Larger sizes stay sharp when printed bigger. The on-screen preview always renders at 512px — only the PNG download uses the size you pick.

Quiet zone (margin)

The quiet zone is the blank border around the code. The QR spec recommends 4 modules; pick more for fussy or angled scanners, less for a tighter layout. Applies to the preview and both downloads.

Colors

Overrides the background color in the SVG and PNG so the QR sits on any surface. Contrast is checked against white as the worst realistic case, and the ribbon backdrop stays white so the logo stays legible.

Contrast ratio 17.70:1 — excellent. Should scan on most devices. The center ribbon backdrop uses the background color.

Safe up to 28%

Level H error correction can absorb ~30% of covered modules — larger or off-center logos push closer to that limit. Position offsets are safely inset so nothing overlaps the corner finder patterns. Applies to preview and both downloads.
