I first discovered the lump when I was showering a few days ago.  I didn't think anything of it besides maybe an ingrown hair.  When I checked the mirror last night, however, I noticed that there was no inflammation or redness where the lump was on my right armpit.  I felt it and noticed that it was under the skin.  It was about the size of a marble.  After poking at it, I realized it was probably not a large pimple or ingrown hair, but something much more.

 

I will be seeing the doctor tomorrow at 3:30.  I really hope it's not what I think it is.  Perhaps its just a swollen lymph node that will go away?

 

The  only person who had breast cancer in my family was my aunt on my mom's side of the family.  They say it was stress induced.

 

I will hopefully find out more tomorrow?
