Who would have thought at my annual mammogram, I was called back in for a repeat mammogram, then a breast ultrasound, then talk to a surgeon, then another ultra sound. Not to find out that they wanted me back the next day for a biopsy. I sit and worried about the out come. I watched 2 dear friends battle with breast cancer and lost. All I can think of is that my only daughter is getting married next year and I want to be here and healthy. After 2 sleepless nights I find out the answer "you don't have cancer". I was releived, but what about the ones that are not so lucky how must they feel right now. I hope everyone goes to get their annual screenings. Breast cancer awareness should not only be the month of October but all year long. Please encourage all of your loved ones to get this most important screening.
